On Monday, May 19, 2008, The 10th Anniversary Styles 2008 International Design Competition and Runway Show was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Master of Ceremonies, Robert Verdi and Special Award Presenter Sophia Bush introduced 1700 industry and Gen Art member guests to 30 designer finalists; some of the best up and coming talent in fashion, including Hannah Marshall, Hyden Yoo, Timothy Franklin, Le Sang des Betes and more.
Winners of the 2008 Styles Competition were chosen by a panel of well-known figures in the fashion industry, including Victoria Bartlett, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, Barbara Kramer, Alvin Valley and Marc Ecko.
