Gen Art invites you to attend our holiday SHOP NYC taking place at the lovely 20,000 sq ft 7W on December 2nd. This year's Shop will also be the home of the Styles 2009 Fashion & Awards Presentation. 

VIP ticket holders will have access to both the VIP Preview of Shop (first dibs on items), as well as to be able to view the Styles 2009 Fashion & Awards Presentation.

Features 50 of today's top emerging accessory, menswear and womenswear designers make their wares available for purchase at highly discounted prices.  It is an excellent opportunity in one place, at one time, to be able to find great holidays gifts (including some for yourself).  The evening also includes complimentary drinks (wine, beer & tea), spa and beauty treatments. Complimentary beverages provided by Ménage à Trois wines, Bud Light Lime and Honest Tea.

The event begins with an hour long VIP Preview from 6:00-7:00pm which include specialty Potocki Vodka cocktails.  At 7pm, the doors open to general admission ticket holders.

Styles 2009 Presentation & Awards

Styles is Gen Art's annual International Design Competition.  The 25 finalists, selected from over 1,000 worldwide submissions, are the most geographically diverse in the competition’s history 11 year history. These aspiring designers hail from Turkey, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Israel, England and Taiwan, with U.S. designers from New York, Boston and Los Angeles. Finalists were chosen by a selection committee of editors, buyers and stylists from top fashion retailers and publications including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Details, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Neiman Marcus, Refinery 29, Saks Fifth Avenue, Steven Alan, Vogue and Women’s Wear Daily.

The 25 Styles design finalists looks will be showcased in live model vignettes from 6:00-7:00pm as the centerpiece of the VIP Preview portion of  the Shop NYC event. At 7pm, VIP ticket holders including members of the press, judging panel, and select fashion industry members will adjourn to the VIP lounge where the 5 winning designers will be announced and presented with their awards.

To attend the VIP Shop Preview / Fashion Presentation, you need to purchase VIP tickets or to become an Associate Producer or higher level member of Gen Art.

VIP ticket holders receive access to VIP Preview, Styles Presentation & Awards, a gift bag, a sample of the winning t-shirt  from the irockinspiration.com competition and access to the VIP lounge where specialty vodka cocktails will be served.
