LA Fashion Week Show

On Friday the 13th of March, more than 1,000 Gen Art members, guests and industry fashionistas attended Gen Art’s LA Fall Fashion Show kicking off Boxeight’s Fashion Week at the beautiful Los Angeles Theatre. Hosted by Gen Art’s own Monica Glass and Jennifer Egan, the show drew celebrity guests including Gretchen Rossi (“Real Housewives of Orange County”), Amber Stevens (“Greek”), Willie Macc (“College Hill”) and Slade Smiley (“Date My Ex: Jo & Slade”) along with special industry guests, designer Cynthia Vincent, Clint Catalyst and Project Runway’s Nick Verreos and Jerrell Scott.

In addition, some of the talent associated with the Gen Art Film Festival which runs from April 1 -7 in New York where on hand. Director Julie Davis whose film "Finding Bliss" which is set against the L.A. adult industry was on hand with porn star Ron Jeremy. Actress Brook Nevin from "My Suicide" was in the house as well as screen writer Steven Martini whose film "Lymelife," directed by his brother Derek, opens the Film Festival starring Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon & Jill Hennessy.

Presenting three of LA’s leading designers, GRAI, Raquel Allegra and Society for Rational Dress, the show opened Fashion Week with a bang, followed by an afterparty with music by DJ Jasepi and beverages by Menage a Trois Wine, Hornitos Tequila and smartwater. Additional support provided by Acura, Boxeight, Citi, MAC, Unite Eurotherapy, Di Moda PR, W Los Angeles- Westwood, Los Angeles Time Media Group and 944 Magazine.
