GEN ART WRAPS TRI-CITY 2009 FRESH FACES IN FASHION SHOWS
>> 12th ANNUAL FRESH FACES IN FASHION LOS ANGELES SHOW presented by Plastics Make It Possible took place on October 29th before 1,200+ guests at the Petersen Automotive Museum in West Hollywood hosted by the lovely and talented Kaley Cuoco, ending the 3 city fashion spectacle. The show served as the kick-off for a National Design Competition for emerging designers working with plastic's based fibers.

>> On October 24th, Gen Art hosted its 7TH ANNUAL FRESH FACES IN FASHION CHICAGO SHOW which was the Grand Finale of the City of Chicago's official Fashion Focus Week. The show, taking place in a massive tent at the magnificent Millennium Park, drew a capacity crowd of Chicago's eitle including members of the fashion industry, media world, as well as the beautiful Nadine Velazquez from NBC's "My Name is Earl."

>> The first of the fall's FRESH FACES IN FASHION SHOWS @ NEW YORK FASHION WEEK took place on September 15th at the Grand Finale of Elle's Style 360 shows. That show was hosed by Gossip Girl guest star Joanna Garcia.

FRESH FACES IN FASHION HISTORY
Fresh Faces in Fashion, Gen Art's anchor event, is a once-yearly runway show in each market that showcases up to 8 emerging designers on the runway and up to 4 accessories designers in standing installations. The shows take place in high profile locations for 700-1,000 guests including fashion industry members, press, celebrities and Gen Art supporters.
Some of the best emerging fashion designers in womenswear, menswear and accessories have shown on the Fresh Faces runway and the show has given debuts to fashion's rising stars including Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Philip Lim (for Development), Katy Rodriguez, Sari Gueron, Shoshanna, Geren Ford, Milly, and many more.
