NIGHT TWO // FEATURE FILM
Gigantic
Directed by: Matt Aselton
Starring: Paul Dano, Zooey Deschanel, John Goodman, Edward Asner, and Jane Alexander
Brian (Dano), a mattress store worker trying to adopt a Chinese baby, had no idea what he was in for when millionaire Al Lolly (Goodman) became his newest customer. When Brian is introduced to Al’s free-spirited daughter Happy (Deschanel), he is swept up in a romance that could rock his quiet world.
With two eccentric families surrounding both Brian and Happy, it’s clear from the start that this is not going to be your average relationship. From a mushroom-enhanced hunting trip with Brian’s family to car trips with Al riding in the trunk, this surreal love story is a romance that could only happen in New York.

“Tailor-made for the terminally hip.” - Variety
“Paul Dano is superb as this character, who in his search for a meaningful goal develops an obsession to adopt a baby from China. The always entertaining Zooey Deschanel is his love interest, who comes with her own screwy problems and a force-of-life father (John Goodman) who says exactly what he's thinking no matter how socially inappropriate.” – The Hollywood Reporter
