GEN ART ALUMNUS BREWING UP BIG LAUGHS ONLINE

Gen Art wishes to congratulate Robert Kirbyson on a new web series based on his award winning short CTRL Z, which won Gen Art's 2nd Annual Delta Fly-In Movies competition and was the opening night short at the 2008 Gen Art Film Festival in NY (where the producers of the series discovered Robert and the film).

The film stars Tony Hale (Arrested Development) as a frustrated office worker who accidentally discovers that his computer has the ability to shift time backwards, which inevitably leads to hijinks and hilarity. But don't take our word for it, see for yourself by checking out the original short here.

The new web series will be distributed on NBC.com, Hulu, as well as additional platforms on cable and gaming networks - all with the support of Nestea as a partner on the project which will earn them some primo product placement.

This is great news for independent filmmakers everywhere as it signals new opportunities for partnerships with all sorts of brands, which will generate additional content and keep filmmakers working behind the lens during these rough economic times. If you are a Gen Art Alumnus join our Facebook group to be informed of any similar opportunities that come our way. If you are a brand looking to align with original content (whether it be film, fashion, music or art) contact us at cinema@genart.org.
