Gen Art invites its Platinum and higher level members to a special cocktail reception for collectors and art enthusiasts.

Using thousands of yards of shimmering disco-gold fabric as his medium, artist little marvin has transformed Anonymous Gallery into MAKE LOVE WAR. Part site-specific installation, part participatory event, MAKE LOVE WAR's majestic, golden army bunker (and its eventual destruction by the public over the course of four weeks), invites its viewer into a parallel universe, one which transmutes terror into wonder, pain into healing, death into life.

"I'm fascinated by these disco-gold hearts, because they're sort of dumb looking, really. But in the right light and proper context, they become triumphant. Transcendent even. Not unlike us. We're all just sort of dumb material in a way, which, given the proper light and context have the capability of transcendence."  -- little marvin  www.makelovewar.com

Gen Art members will receive 10% off retail purchases at the event.

Exhibit Information:
February 14 through March 7, Wednesday through Sunday 12pm to 7 pm
